About Your Team
Become a part of our innovative SAP Enterprise Architects team within the newly established SAP Customer Services & Delivery board. We spearhead digital transformation initiatives utilizing state-of-the-art SAP technologies, advancing the RISE with SAP strategy, endorsing Clean Core principles, and accelerating the adoption of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Our objective is to streamline and modernize IT infrastructures, minimize complexity and operational expenses, while promoting innovation and efficiency to meet evolving business demands.
Your Responsibilities:
As a Principal Enterprise Architect, you will create a holistic enterprise architecture framework for our clients that aligns with their organizational objectives. You will collaborate with virtual account teams (VAT) as a transformation ally and lead initiatives such as:
- Guiding clients through their cloud transformation journey, with a particular emphasis on adoption and scaling digitally.
- Providing enterprise architecture expertise utilizing the RISE with SAP methodology and Clean Core principles to ensure that every client benefits from SAP's cloud capabilities.
- Acting as the Transformation Partner for CIOs or other CxOs, enhancing architectural effectiveness.
- Facilitating adoption by identifying and addressing technical adoption challenges.
- Aligning clients and partners with SAP's Clean Core strategy, expediting BTP adoption, and advocating SAP best practices.
- Delivering customer insights to all teams, improving customer engagement and experience.
- Communicating the value of the proposed target architecture and potential intermediate steps, while providing guidance on realizing identified benefits.
- Serving as a trusted advisor, ensuring secure, reliable, and adaptable cloud environments for mission-critical operations.
Your Qualifications:
Transformation, Architectural & Solution Expertise:
- Proven experience in delivering enterprise business transformation initiatives and aligning client priorities with target architecture and strategic roadmaps.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the SAP Solution Portfolio and Enterprise Architecture Framework (North Star).
- Experience with Business Technology Platform components (application development, automation, data analytics, integration, AI) and practical experience with S/4HANA applications.
- Strong understanding of Cloud & Clean Core Strategy, along with familiarity with SAP LeanIX, Signavio, and Cloud ALM.
- Insight into SAP's Business AI roadmap, including the identification of use cases and piloting AI-driven solutions to enhance business processes.
- Expertise in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory Methodologies.
Essential Requirements:
- Over 10 years in customer-facing roles (e.g., Program Manager, Architect), with experience in comprehensive architectural design for hybrid solution environments.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework and Toolset, along with experience in BTP components and services such as application development, automation, data analytics, integration, and AI capabilities.
- Proficiency in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory Methodologies and Clean Core principles.
- Technical knowledge or experience with S/4HANA applications.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills (in English) at senior management and C-levels, both within IT teams and across business functions.
- A mindset geared towards Strategic Thinking, Continuous Learning, and Business Acumen.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with on-premise and corresponding SAP cloud solutions.
Professional training and certifications (e.g., SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework featured by LeanIX EAM, SAP Certified Professional-Enterprise Architect [P_SAPEA_2023], TOGAF) are advantageous.
