About Your Team
Become a vital part of our dynamic SAP Enterprise Architects team within the SAP Customer Services & Delivery board. We spearhead digital transformation initiatives utilizing advanced SAP technologies, driving the RISE with SAP strategy, endorsing Clean Core principles, and facilitating the adoption of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Our objective is to streamline and modernize IT infrastructures, minimizing complexity and operational expenses while promoting innovation and efficiency to adapt to changing business requirements.
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for creating a robust enterprise architecture framework for our clients that aligns with their strategic objectives. You will collaborate with virtual account teams (VAT) as a transformation partner and engage in activities such as:
- Guiding clients through their cloud transition, with a focus on adoption and scaling digitally.
- Offering enterprise architecture insights based on RISE with SAP methodologies and Clean Core principles to maximize the benefits of SAP's cloud offerings.
- Acting as a Transformation Partner for CIOs and other C-level executives, enhancing architectural effectiveness.
- Facilitating adoption by identifying and addressing technical risks associated with the transition.
- Aligning clients and partners with SAP's Clean Core strategy, accelerating BTP integration, and advocating for SAP best practices.
- Providing contextual insights to all teams, enhancing client engagement and experience.
- Communicating the value of the proposed target architecture and outlining potential transitional steps while guiding the realization of identified benefits.
- Serving as a trusted advisor, ensuring secure, reliable, and adaptable cloud environments for critical business processes.
Qualifications You Bring
Transformation, Architectural & Solution Expertise:
- Proven experience in delivering enterprise transformation initiatives and aligning client priorities with architectural roadmaps.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the SAP Solution Portfolio and Enterprise Architecture Framework (North Star).
- Experience with Business Technology Platform components, including application development, automation, data analytics, integration, and AI, along with practical experience in S/4HANA applications.
- Strong grasp of Cloud & Clean Core Strategies, with familiarity in SAP LeanIX, Signavio, and Cloud ALM.
- Insight into SAP's Business AI roadmap, including the identification of use cases and piloting AI-driven solutions to optimize business processes.
- Expertise in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory methodologies.
Essential Requirements:
- 15+ years in customer-facing roles (e.g., Program Manager, Architect), with experience in comprehensive architectural design for hybrid solution environments.
- Extensive understanding of SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework and Toolset, along with experience in BTP components and services.
- Technical knowledge or experience with S/4HANA applications.
- Proficiency in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory methodologies and Clean Core principles.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills in English, particularly at senior management and C-level interactions.
- A mindset geared towards strategic thinking, continuous learning, and business acumen.
- Familiarity with both on-premise and corresponding SAP cloud solutions.
- Professional certifications in relevant areas (e.g., SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework, SAP Certified Professional-Enterprise Architect, TOGAF).
