YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a pivotal role in developing a comprehensive enterprise architecture framework that aligns with the organization's strategic objectives. SAP is making a significant investment in an Enterprise Architecture Advisory Team.
Your primary responsibility will be to guide all SAP customer segments through their transformation journeys, particularly those embarking on a RISE with SAP transition.
Our methodology begins with a thorough assessment of their current Enterprise Architecture, utilizing tools such as LeanIX or SAP Signavio, and progresses towards defining a North Star target architecture. This ideal architecture harmonizes their strategic vision and essential business capabilities with SAP's solutions while adhering to a Clean Core philosophy supported by SAP's Business Technology Platform. We employ established Enterprise Architecture methodologies and frameworks to facilitate this process.
Through our approach, we assist SAP's clients in achieving their strategic objectives by enhancing their business transformation efforts with insights into Enterprise Architecture and SAP's North Star target architecture. This will foster innovation and the adoption of new business models and technologies, thereby increasing the utilization of SAP's solution offerings.
As the global leader of the Enterprise Architecture Advisory practice, our team defines the role, methodologies, tools, content, and community engagement for Enterprise Architects. We provide guidance and governance to both external clients and internal stakeholders. As thought leaders, we will develop industry reference architectures and outline the future of Enterprise Architecture practices. Additionally, we will drive the digitization and automation of EA services and activities, with you contributing as a subject matter expert.
This role offers a balanced mix of customer-facing activities and support tasks for colleagues within our team and regional units.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., Program Manager, Architect).
• Extensive experience as an Enterprise Architect.
• Demonstrated success in delivering Enterprise Business Transformation through application delivery.
• Proficient in end-to-end architectural design for hybrid solution landscapes.
• In-depth knowledge of the SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework and Toolset, SAP Integration Advisory Methodology, SAP Extensibility Advisory Methodology, SAP Clean Core principles, and the use of SAP LeanIX & Signavio for documenting Enterprise Architectures and Business Processes.
• Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills (in English and German) at the senior management level, both within IT teams and across business functions.
• Industry-specific expertise in at least two of the following sectors: Consumer Goods, Retail, Discrete Manufacturing, Process & Life Sciences, Utilities, Oil and Gas, Professional Services, Public Sector, etc.
• Professional Training & Certification (e.g., SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework featured by LeanIX EAM, SAP Certified Professional-Enterprise Architect [P_SAPEA_2023], TOGAF) is advantageous.
