About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Designer to join our team in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our CBTC (Communications-Based Train Control) system development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions for our rail transportation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop software components for our CBTC system, ensuring high-quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop subsystem requirements and designs.
- Implement unit tests to verify software correctness and completeness.
- Coordinate peer reviews of software development artifacts and participate in peer reviews requested by others.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in software development, preferably in the rail transportation industry.
- Strong knowledge of software development principles, object-oriented design, and software implementation.
- Experience with.NET, Visual Basic, Visual C++, C/C++, and other relevant tools and technologies.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, learn new tools and techniques, and contribute to continuous improvement.
