IT Operations Lead Clinical Analytics

About the Role
Novartis is seeking an IT Operations Lead to oversee and manage all day-to-day IT operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations, managing licenses and vendor relations, supporting audit-related aspects, budget management, and ensuring compliance, quality, and security are maintained in all operational aspects.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with various business stakeholders, 3rd party vendors, and other IT line functions to collect operational demands and enhancement requests.
- Constantly update and review application roadmaps, technology modernization, and eliminate unused assets.
- Conduct service review meetings with business and vendors to ensure SLA/KPI adherence.
- Ensure required training materials are up to date, and manage license, budget, and contract management for various tools and vendors.
- Evaluate and manage overall quality, technical security, user access, and audit readiness.
- Support critical and major incidents, and adhere to GxP compliance processes and requirements.
- Manage quality events, risks, deviations, and periodic reviews.
- Stay up-to-date with internal IT systems, documentation requirements, standards, regulatory environments, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Develop operational cost estimates and complete financial models.
- Perform change impact assessments and formulate compliant approaches to development and deployment of changes.
- Ensure implemented solutions are according to specifications and fit for purpose.
