Job Title: Head of IS Technology and Platforms

About the Role:

The Head of IS Technology and Platforms will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our IS Technology and Platforms function. This includes overseeing the delivery of core IS services and ensuring that our technology platforms are aligned with our business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of IS Technology and Platforms strategy
  • Oversee the delivery of core IS services, including Service Delivery and Experience, Engineering and Cloud, Networks and Hosting, and Modernization and Integration
  • Manage a large global organization, ensuring full coverage of technology services across all time zones
  • Establish strong relationships with IS Departments, Strategic Partners, Vendors, and Customers
  • Ensure IS Technology and Platforms are fully compliant and controlled, adhering to ABB Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Security
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of relevant experience, including 10 years of experience in senior technology leadership roles
  • Significant experience across the core pillars, with senior stakeholder relationship management (internally and externally)
  • Experience running core areas of IS Technology and Platforms
  • Experience successfully managing complex enterprise-wide transformation programs
