Job Title: Head of IS Functional Technology Services

At ABB, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our IS Functional Technology Services team. As the Head of IS Functional Technology Services, you will be responsible for overseeing all technology solutions and services that enable business value delivered by ABB Corporate Functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-create digitalization strategies for Core ABB functions and processes.
  • Manage a large part of ABB IS organization, requiring excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Accountable for delivering IS Services to customers and consumers within agreed budgets and specifications.
  • Adhere to ABB Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Security.
  • Establish strong and effective relationships with IS Departments, strategic partners, vendors, and customers.
  • Manage multiple, integrated vendor relationships.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of relevant experience within global environments, including minimum 5 years of experience in a senior IS/IT leadership role connected to technology services.
  • Experience in end-to-end Service Delivery, thorough understanding of industry Service Management standards.
  • Strategic leadership and ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Very strong customer value mindset.
  • Strategic and tactical thinking with operational experience required.
  • High EQ including empathy as well as a strong problem solver required.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Compliance and security knowledge and mindset.
  • Previous related business experience, allowing it to translate business needs into a strategic technology direction and IS service catalogue offering.
