About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Solicitor or Paralegal to join our Casualty Injury Team at DAC Beachcroft Dublin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with the running of complex claims, ensuring deadlines are met, and cases are managed proactively to conclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the management of complex claims, ensuring timely completion and effective case strategy.
  • Run a modest caseload, ensuring deadlines are met and cases are managed proactively to conclusion.
  • Ensure work is carried out effectively to meet client needs, commercial requirements, and quality standards.
  • Adhere to internal and client Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and protocols.
  • Promptly bill and collect Work-in-Progress (WIP) and disbursements.
  • Provide accurate and timely Management Information (MI).
  • Support a clear case strategy, ensuring cases are run smoothly and balance commercial interests.
  • Apply current technical expertise and case law.
  • Effectively manage risk and compliance issues within each case.
  • Engage with clients to maximize opportunities and build rapport.
  • Contribute to Business Development and client relationship activity.
  • Maintain and develop technical knowledge through training and publications.
Requirements
  • 0-5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in Multi-Track or Fast-Track Claims.
  • EL/PL Experience.
  • High level of personal compliance with firm protocols and procedures.
  • Good legal knowledge relevant to the area of expertise.
  • Good organization skills, able to work to deadlines and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to adopt a commercial perspective to legal issues.
  • High standard of written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to produce work to a high standard, with excellent attention to detail and concern for quality of service.
  • Team-oriented and collegiate, with a willingness to share knowledge and support other team members.
  • Demonstrates alignment with the Firm's Cultural Principles.
