About the Role

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be an integral part of iptiQ's mission to transform the insurance industry through cutting-edge technology. As a Technical Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new features and products that align with user needs and business goals across multiple domain teams and the whole platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in designing and developing new features and products that align with user needs and business goals.
  • Identify, plan, and lead technical initiatives to improve the platform as a whole.
  • Lead the implementation of critical parts within a domain team.
  • Mentor junior team members and write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Work closely with team members, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to ensure a cohesive development process and product outcome.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced software engineer who is passionate about improving developer experience and software quality. You should have a demonstrated track record of proficiency in several elements of our technology stack, including Kotlin/Java, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and JavaScript. Additionally, you should be able to prove use of modern architectural patterns, such as Domain-Driven Design, microservices, CQRS, event sourcing, and hexagonal architecture.
