Job Description

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer - Technical Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer - Technical Lead to join our team at Deutsche Bank. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing application code, implementing technical solutions, and configuring applications in response to business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical design, programming, and testing of new projects, enhancements, and maintenance of a specific set of applications
  • Ensuring IT Application Life Cycle standards are met in ongoing enhancements and maintenance
  • Aligning application changes with the application strategy and technology roadmap
  • Identifying and managing risks and issues associated with the application
  • Ensuring maximum operational availability and stability
  • Focusing on cost efficiency

Requirements:

  • Advanced English and Spanish required
  • Experience in Google Cloud technologies (Dataproc, BigQuery, Cloud Composer, and Dataflow)
  • Knowledge and experience in systems and end-to-end processes
  • Experience in functional programming and OOP
  • Knowledge of markup languages: XML, JSON/GraphQL
  • Experience developing REST services
  • Solid knowledge of software engineering, design patterns, and software architecture
  • Development background and demonstrated experience as an analyst
  • Experience in analyzing existing systems from high-level architecture to application code review
  • Experience with technical documentation, architectural diagrams, components, flows, and use cases
  • Demonstrable DevOps-oriented mindset
  • Experience with testing/QA tools
  • Ability to understand complex business processes and workflows
  • Capacity for teamwork with multidisciplinary teams
  • Leadership and communication skills
  • High commitment to results
  • Ability to identify risks, resolve conflicts, and plan tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of methodologies in application development (e.g., Agile)
