We're a dynamic team of engineers at Urban Sports Club Group, passionate about technology and delivering exceptional experiences to our stakeholders. As our Senior Backend Software Engineer, you'll work collaboratively with other engineers, product owners, and designers to identify and solve complex problems, creating an engaging sports experience for users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute as a valued member and technical lead of an autonomous agile team, driving innovation and delivering on new product objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-quality software solutions.
- Take ownership of software development, ensuring testability, maintainability, and operational excellence.
- Participate in driving best engineering practices across the company, influencing and shaping the technical direction of the Urban Sports-wide backend cluster.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Backend Software Engineer with a strong background in Golang.
- Experience working with cloud managed services, such as GCP/AWS.
- Ability to work closely with stakeholders to understand, document, and develop APIs and systems that meet their needs.
- Expertise in designing and deploying distributed, high-volume services, with a focus on scalability and reliability.
- Strong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
