About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Engineer to join our team at Reconocida empresa. As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Tech Leads, promoting standards and best practices within the organization, and driving initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Tech Leads, providing guidance and support in their technical and leadership roles.
  2. Technical Strategy: Collaborate with product teams led by Tech Leads to understand their needs and requirements, and promote the adoption of standards and best practices across the organization.
  3. Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in software development processes and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability.
  4. Architectural Expertise: Participate in architectural discussions and provide technical expertise to ensure the development of robust and scalable solutions.
  5. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical strategies and ensure successful delivery of projects.
  6. Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
  7. Technical Debt: Understand and manage technical debt with a pragmatic perspective, including governance at the organization level and assisting Tech Leads in dealing with it.
Requirements
  1. Software Engineering Experience: Extensive experience in software engineering, with a strong background in designing and developing complex systems.
  2. Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on mentoring and developing technical talent.
  3. Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of software development methodologies, best practices, and architectural principles.
  4. Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  5. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
  6. Passion for Technology: A passion for technology and a drive to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.
