As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the architectural aspects of our LNG projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Design Review and Coordination: Review and approve architectural designs, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and industry standards.
- Construction Supervision: Regularly inspect construction activities related to architectural elements, ensuring they are in accordance with approved designs and specifications.
- Project Management Support: Track the progress of architectural work against the project schedule, identifying potential delays and working with the EPC contractor to mitigate them.
- Quality Assurance and Control: Oversee the quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes, including inspections and testing of architectural components.
- Communication and Reporting: Act as a liaison between the owner, EPC contractor, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Regulatory Compliance and Permitting: Support the acquisition of necessary permits and ensure all architectural works comply with local and national building codes and regulations.
- Safety and Risk Management: Ensure all architectural construction activities adhere to safety protocols and standards, promoting a safe work environment.
- Commissioning and Handover: Participate in final inspections and walkthroughs to ensure that all architectural work is completed to the required standards.
- Education: Degree in Architecture or related field.
- Experience: Extensive experience in architectural design and construction, preferably in industrial projects like LNG facilities.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of German building codes, regulations, and standards, as well as international standards (e.g., ISO, EN).
- Language: Proficiency in both German and English for effective communication.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Project Management, LEED, etc.) may be advantageous.
