About Four Seasons:
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is a global leader in the hospitality industry, renowned for its exceptional service, luxurious amenities, and commitment to excellence. Our team members are the driving force behind our success, and we're seeking a talented Cook to join our pre-opening team at the Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor.
About the Role:
The Cook will be responsible for preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner for our guests, adhering to the highest standards of quality and presentation. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our new resort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare food items of consistent quality according to guest orders, following recipes and production standards.
- Operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment, including food processors, mixers, and ovens.
- Maintain a clean and efficient station, adhering to health codes and safety protocols.
- Label and date all food containers, rotating stock as per policies.
- Determine necessary preparation, freezer pull, and line set up.
- Return all food items not used to designated storage areas.
- Manage and prioritize tasks by shift.
Requirements:
- Excellent teamwork skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Trade apprenticeship or other form of registered training in the culinary discipline.
- Minimum two years of culinary experience in a luxury restaurant or similar.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen tools and culinary operations.
- Ability to lift up to 30Kg and stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Flexible schedule and ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English and Spanish.
