Position Overview

The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for providing guidance and support to Large Business Teams, including Directors, Managers, and Employees, by delivering timely and precise information regarding HR policies and procedures.

This role involves supporting and training teams during annual HR processes and ensuring that the shared service support model aligns with client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive support to large teams across various functions.
  • Coordinate and assist HR Business Partners in specific geographies or functions.
  • Advise and mentor Directors and Managers on talent management and career development to enhance team capabilities and engagement.
  • Lead the Talent Process for Bands 1 and 2, and provide support for Band 3.
  • Influence compliance with existing policies and effective people management to mitigate future legal issues.
  • Collaborate with the business to design and implement organizational solutions that positively impact culture and performance.
  • Serve as the primary contact for employees regarding HR inquiries.
  • Oversee and process job changes and temporary contracts.
  • Manage the off-boarding process.
  • Partner with the Employee Relations Manager on employee relations matters.
  • Assist regional Recruitment efforts as needed, including conducting interviews and advising managers.
  • Develop expertise in Labor Relations, Payroll, Talent Development, and Recruitment to engage effectively with Centers of Excellence.
  • Provide training and support for annual HR processes, including Performance Optimization, Salary Reviews, Talent Reviews, and Pulse Surveys.
  • Participate in local and international HR projects and cross-functional initiatives to foster collaboration.
  • Administer HR programs, including roadshows and training sessions.
  • Conduct new manager assimilation sessions.
  • Represent HR in compliance audits.
  • Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned.
  • Create job aids and process flows for field support services.

Qualifications:

Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.

Desirable: Postgraduate qualifications in business or a related discipline, along with experience in employee relations and wellbeing.

Experience:

3-5 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, with proven skills in administering HR policies and procedures, customer support, and training.

Desirable: Experience in multinational companies.

Skills & Knowledge:

Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with employees and management at all levels, providing exceptional customer service.

Customer service-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Proficient in leading and coaching others, with a commitment to high-quality work and continuous improvement.

Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to influence diverse groups.

Reliable, adaptable, and resilient, with a structured and detail-oriented approach.

Languages:

Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Preferred Education:

Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.

Preferred Level of Work Experience:

3 - 5 years.
