Position OverviewLift Technical Support Technician
Role Objective
Deliver expert technical assistance to both domestic and international clients, addressing concerns, overseeing commissioning processes, and collaborating with various departments to enhance solutions and mitigate recurring issues.
Key Responsibilities
Upon completion of the training phase, your routine responsibilities will encompass:
- Providing remote assistance to clients.
- Conducting on-site visits to diagnose and rectify faults.
- Overseeing commissioning activities.
- Delivering product training to clients.
- Coordinating with other departments to escalate concerns and devise solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
Qualifications: A minimum of two years' experience in technical support via telephone and/or lift assembly and oversight.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of an additional language such as French, German, Spanish, or Dutch is advantageous.
Additional Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities, effective communication skills, proactive approach, and a customer-focused mindset.
Core Duties:
Remote Technical Assistance:
- Address technical inquiries and issues from clients remotely through various communication channels.
On-Site Troubleshooting:
- Travel to client locations to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.
Commissioning Oversight:
- Supervise and guide the commissioning of equipment at client sites.
Client Training:
- Educate clients on the operation and maintenance of equipment.
Internal Collaboration:
- Engage with other departments (engineering, production, etc.) to identify recurring issues, propose solutions, and enhance products and services.
Experience: At least two years of experience in technical support via telephone and/or lift assembly and supervision.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English is essential. Knowledge of an additional language such as French, German, Spanish, or Dutch is highly regarded.
Other Qualifications: Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, proactive mindset, and a customer-oriented approach.
