Job SummaryWe are seeking a visionary and dynamic Head of Monetization and Partnerships to drive our monetization strategy and enhance our product to serve users globally. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in unlocking our full potential and driving our mission to 'unleash genAI across the globe'. We prioritize sustainable, long-term growth through innovative monetization strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Monetization Strategy Development: Identify and develop user-centric monetization avenues that generate revenue without compromising user experience.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with the CEO and other departments to strategize, define, and implement monetization opportunities across all distribution and acquisition channels.
- Revenue Forecasting: Estimate and forecast revenue potential from proposed initiatives.
- Monetization Efforts Leadership: Lead the sales/partnerships team, negotiate with brands for advertising, and integrate with platforms for ads or affiliates.
- Market Dynamics Understanding: Understand market dynamics for free-user monetization and integrate the right strategies to comply with them.
- Cultural Adaptation: Understand and adapt the strategy to local customs, partners, and regulations for our main regions.
- Monetization Experience: Proven experience in different monetization strategies, including ads, affiliation, and partnerships.
- Start-up Experience: Experience in fast-paced start-ups, particularly in hyper-growth phases, with a focus on delivering results and being hands-on.
- Consumer App Expertise: Strong understanding of consumer apps, with a focus on Latam and SEA markets.
- Product Sense: Strong product sense and ability to understand technical complexities.
- Team Leadership: Proven ability to build and lead strong monetization teams and work effectively with technical stakeholders.
- Decision-Making and Communication: Excellent decision-making skills and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
