Computational Biologist Position at Cancer Stem Cells and Metastasis Dynamics Lab

The Spanish National Bioinformatics Institute (INB) is seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team at the Cancer Stem Cells & Metastasis Dynamics Lab. As a key member of our research group, you will contribute to our mission to understand cell plasticity and heterogeneity in breast cancer metastasis and immunotherapy research.
About the LabOur lab is part of the IMIM, located at the Biomedical Research Park of Barcelona, and is focused on basic and translational research. We offer a collaborative and innovative environment, with opportunities for academic and industry collaborations.
Responsibilities- Design and implement computational biology approaches to analyze large datasets
- Develop and apply single-cell RNA-seq analysis methods
- Integrate and analyze multi-omics data, including RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, and ChIP-seq
- Conduct deconvolution analysis using bulk transcriptomics
- Master or PhD in bioinformatics or a related field
- Experience in computational biology and single-cell RNA-seq analysis
- Strong programming skills in languages such as R or Python
