As a key member of our lab, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets and developing computational models to understand cell plasticity and heterogeneity in breast cancer metastasis.
About the Lab
The Cancer Stem Cells and Metastasis Dynamics Lab is a dynamic and innovative research group focused on understanding the complex mechanisms of cancer metastasis. Our lab is part of the Hospital del Mar research community, offering a collaborative and stimulating environment for basic and translational research.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets using computational biology techniques
- Develop and implement computational models to understand cell plasticity and heterogeneity in breast cancer metastasis
- Collaborate with the research team to design and implement experiments
- Communicate research findings through publications and presentations
Requirements
- Master or PhD in bioinformatics or a related field
- Experience in computational biology using large datasets
- Experience in single cell RNA-seq analysis
- Strong programming skills in languages such as R or Python
