Job Summary:

The Global Partners Markets Senior Director will be responsible for driving the worldwide partners business, maximizing successful partnerships, and making Almirall's medicines available to patients worldwide. This role will focus on business performance achievement of current partners and identifying potential new business opportunities to ensure growth of the international business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive the international business outside of our core markets through strategic partnerships.
  2. Maximize the value of our legacy portfolio worldwide and new portfolio through effective business development and partnership management.
  3. Lead a high-performance team, the Global Partners Markets Department, committed to delivering targets and maximizing results.
  4. Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure business materialization with corporate values and teamwork spirit.
  5. Define the business strategy and plan for global partners markets within the framework of the P&L Business Plan.
  6. Manage a portfolio of +60 partners in around 100 countries, with a concentrated portfolio (top 5 partners account for 50% of the business).
  7. Monitor partners, marketing and medical strategy, sales performance, commercial efforts, and investments to meet P&L and KPI targets.
  8. Conduct close contractual follow-up of partner commitments, mitigation plans, and proposed actions.
  9. Accountability of the P&L for the Global Partners business and monitor it: monthly, quarterly, and annually (actuals vs BU, LY, demand plan).
  10. Collaborate with supply/demand teams to ensure coordination of orders and deliveries, avoiding out-of-stock situations.
  11. Identify new business opportunities with partners and roll out Almirall's portfolio, new products, and pipeline.
  12. Lead and ensure the materialization of contractual negotiations of license-out agreements with the legal department, aligning internal and external multidisciplinary teams (QA/RA/PV/tax/finance/IP).
  13. Think outside the box to identify new potential sources of growth and improvement areas for agility.
  14. Participate in congresses and pharmaceutical events related to potential new business opportunities.

Requirements:

Education: University degree (science, business, or legal); complementary training such as an MBA is advantageous.

Experience: Professional experience of at least 5 years in partners/alliances management, international commercial operations, or business development areas.

Language Skills: Fluent level of English (oral and written). Other languages are a plus.
