About the Role
Rijk Zwaan Ibérica is seeking a highly skilled Crop Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Strategic Crop Team, you will play a crucial role in the portfolio management and product development strategy of our company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial introduction and trial plans for market segments in the Mediterranean areas, including sales objectives and forecasts for commercial and pre-commercial varieties.
- Collaborate with a network of crop specialists to obtain market and product information, contributing to the commercial strategy and breeding policies.
- Identify opportunities for new product development activities and advise the Strategic Crop Team on current activities and future strategies.
- Lead client management for reference accounts in pepper and eggplant, and lead special local projects that deliver value through the whole value chain.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in sales, horticulture, and product management.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to take a pragmatic approach to tackling challenges.
- A commercial mindset and market-oriented approach.
- Fluency in English (other foreign languages are an advantage).
