**Job Summary**
We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Development Manager to lead our wind energy development efforts. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for structuring strategic partnerships with developers and investors to maximize project value and ensure our exclusivity.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide support in structuring strategic partnerships with developers and investors on a global level to maximize project value and ensure our exclusivity.
- Screen opportunities and conduct initial assessments of identified opportunities.
- Participate in the definition of commercial agreements to participate in third-party opportunities (co-investment, bid bonds, acquisition) presented by the different regions.
- Support project due diligence and assist/support with negotiation of joint development agreements, shareholder agreements, share purchase agreements, and similar investment agreements (e.g., Development Service Agreements).
- Supervise and coordinate project-related contract negotiations such as PPAs, BOP contracts, land leases, and grid interconnection agreements as well as financing of the projects (in collaboration with internal/external stakeholders supporting the process).
- Pitch project development opportunities and prepare, together with the WFS Transactions department, investment decision documentation.
- Prepare and manage the internal approval process for transactions on a global level with the support of the regional sales manager and Transactions Department.
- Monitor existing global project pipeline and budget/spent (with support of the Financial Analyst).
**Requirements**
- Proven experience in project development and origination in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of commercial agreements and contract negotiations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
