About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Amazon Road Transport Spain, S.L.U. as a Senior Environmental Health Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving improvements in health and safety standards across our sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage health and safety programs, collaborating with other teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Analyze data reports and root causes to provide leadership with the information needed to make safety-related decisions.
  • Provide guidance and arrangements for health and safety projects and policies.
  • Drive programs to improve technical equipment specifications and designs within Amazon.
  • Travel within the covered region to ensure effective implementation of health and safety initiatives.
About the Team

Our Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) team plays a crucial role in keeping our people mentally and physically well at work. We work with managers, associates, and local governments across our sites to ensure compliance with Amazon's policies and legal regulations, and that our workplaces are safe.

Requirements
  • Education to a degree level and qualification in Técnico Superior en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (including specialisations in Seguridad en el Trabajo, Higiene Industrial y Ergonomía & Psicosociología aplicada) following Spanish Health and Safety regulations.
  • Professional training in a technical profession, preferably mechatronics or electrics.
  • Relevant experience managing projects.
  • Relevant experience complying with local Health and Safety legislation.
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and the local language.
