Senior Environmental Health Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join Amazon Road Transport Spain, S.L.U. as a Senior Environmental Health Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and the environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage health and safety programs, collaborating with other teams and stakeholders to drive improvements on-site and at a regional level.
- Analyze data reports and root causes to provide leadership with the information needed to make safety-related decisions.
- Provide guidance and arrangements for health and safety projects and policies.
- Drive programs to improve technical equipment specifications and designs within Amazon.
- Travel within the covered region to ensure effective implementation of health and safety initiatives.
Our Workplace Health and Safety team is responsible for ensuring the well-being of our employees and the environment. We work closely with managers, associates, and local governments to ensure compliance with Amazon's policies and legal regulations.
As a Senior Environmental Health Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team that utilizes creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve our goals.
Requirements- Education to a degree level and qualification in Técnico Superior en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (including specialisations in Seguridad en el Trabajo, Higiene Industrial y Ergonomía & Psicosociología aplicada) following Spanish Health and Safety regulations.
- Professional training in a technical profession, preferably mechatronics or electrics.
- Relevant experience managing projects and complying with local Health and Safety legislation.
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and the local language.
- Experience with Lean, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Qualifications or experience in the field of sustainability.
- Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
- Chartered membership of a Human Resources industry body (e.g., IOSH) to support people management.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
