Position Overview

The Commercial division at GfK in Madrid is seeking to enhance its team with a new consultant, joining an existing group of four professionals.

As a Sales Consultant specializing in Consumer and Marketing Insights, you will serve as the vital connection between GfK and our clientele, overseeing commercial initiatives and being accountable for meeting the objectives established by GfK for this sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a designated portfolio of accounts on behalf of GfK.
  • Drive sales growth and performance.
  • Cultivate and maintain overall client relationships with GfK, collaborating with internal teams to ensure a client-focused experience.
  • Comprehend client strategies, organizational structures, and critical business inquiries.
  • Foster new and existing client relationships to promote sales expansion.
  • Lead negotiations for contracts, including new sales and renewals.
  • Enhance revenue generation from your accounts, ensuring that targets are consistently met or surpassed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Typically, 2-5 years of experience in sales or account management.
  • Strong business insight, problem-solving skills, and analytical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Teams.
  • Effective storytelling and presentation abilities.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Experience in market and consumer insights, trade marketing, market intelligence, or market research is preferred.
