About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Kitchen Coordinator to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and providing exceptional support to our chefs and kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain accurate records of HACCP protocols and ensure compliance among kitchen staff
* Coordinate the cost recipe forms database for all outlets
* Assemble and manage the schedule for all kitchen operations, including holidays and statutory days
* Collaborate with the HR department to provide staffing requirements and update the factorial program
* Serve as the primary point of contact for our outsourcing company for health and safety audits
* Stay up-to-date on legislation related to kitchen operations and communicate changes to the team
* Supervise the organization of storerooms and inventories to ensure a smooth-running kitchen
* Propose equipment upgrades and maintain records of repairs with external suppliers

Requirements:

* Expertise in office software, with a focus on Excel
* Excellent organizational and methodical thinking skills
* Passion for learning and development, with a desire to join a hard-working team
* Previous experience as a health and safety assistant is an asset
* Ability to work positively and collaboratively to achieve high standards of delivery
* Willingness to take ownership of important issues and make effective decisions
