About SLS Barcelona

SLS Barcelona, a five-star urban resort, brings a new level of luxury and excellence to Barcelona's waterfront district. With a focus on exceptional service and unique experiences, we're looking for a skilled Kitchen Coordinator to join our pre-opening team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with HACCP protocols and coordinate cost recipe forms data base for all outlets.
  • Assemble schedules for all kitchen operations and maintain accurate records of holidays and statutory days.
  • Work closely with HR to provide extra staff requirements and update factorial program.
  • Coordinate with outsourcing company for health and safety audits and update team on legislative changes.
  • Supervise storerooms and inventories to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Propose equipment changes and update status on repairs with external suppliers.

Requirements

  • Expertise in office package, with emphasis on Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and methodical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and calmly to meet deadlines.
  • Previous experience as health and safety assistant is an advantage.
  • Ability to take ownership of important issues and make effective decisions.
  • Collaborative approach to achieve highest standards of delivery.
