About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our team at OpenNebula Systems. As a Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will play a key role in helping our customers design and implement their cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud solutions for our customers, ensuring they meet their business needs and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with our sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical guidance on cloud solutions.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations and demos to customers and prospects.
  • Conduct discovery sessions with customers to understand their current cloud deployment and challenges, as well as their future objectives and goals.
  • Qualify business alignment and technical fit between customer requirements and OpenNebula's cloud solutions.
  • Design and supervise Proof of Concepts (PoCs) with OpenNebula.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, including market positioning of corporate competitors.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key customer accounts.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer or similar role.
  • 3+ years of overall IT/development background.
  • Experience in RFP's and RFI's, POCs.
  • Experience working with global customers.
  • Good interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to recognize the demands on the side of the clients.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering.
  • Advanced administration of Linux environments: RHEL/AlmaLinux, Ubuntu/Debian.
  • Virtualization: KVM, LXC, libvirt/QEMU, VMware.
  • Demonstrated technical writing skills (in English).
Nice to Have
  • Version Control System: Git.
  • Automation: Ansible, Terraform.
  • Experience working in the cloud management space.
