Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Adecco (Spain). As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data solutions that enable our organization to make informed, data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and improvement of local Data Warehouses (DWH) using SQL Server, Oracle, and Synapse.
  • Design and develop ETL processes using Store Procedures (Oracle and SQL Server), PowerCenter, Python, or other tools for extracting and transforming data from various sources.
  • Manage data quality and consistency across systems.
BI & Analytics Solution Design and Development
  • Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and improvement of MicroStrategy and Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Design and develop robust data models that support our analytical needs.
  • Provide support and training to end-users on the use of BI tools and solutions.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of BI and analytics solutions.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role as a Data Engineer or BI Engineer.
  • Strong skills in Spanish and English to work and communicate with local and core teams.
  • Experience with MicroStrategy and Power BI is recommended.
Technical Skills
  • Deep knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle and SQL Server).
  • Ability to analyze, design, and optimize data models (source, targets, and transformations).
  • Development skills in SQL are required (Transact-SQL or PL/SQL recommended).
Soft Skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as part of a team.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
