Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at OpenNebula Systems. As a key member of our pre-sales team, you will be responsible for executing and managing the presales process, including prospect qualification, product demonstrations, and responding to RFQ/RFPs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of presentations, demos, use cases, solutions, and discussions about OpenNebula
  • Speaking and demonstrating OpenNebula in events
  • Driving high levels of engagement through solution positioning and RFQ/RFP responses focused on the detailed feature-set capabilities and highlighting the business value of the solution
  • Conducting discovery sessions with prospects, partners, and customers to understand their current cloud deployment and challenges, as well as their future objectives and goals
  • Qualifying business alignment and technical fit between prospect, customer, and partner requirements and OpenNebula product and services
  • Designing and supervising Proof of Concepts (PoCs) with OpenNebula
  • Keeping up with the latest industry developments, including market positioning of corporate competitors
  • Developing and nurturing relationships with key customer accounts

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Presales Engineer
  • 3+ years overall IT/development background
  • Experience in RFP's and RFI's, POCs
  • Experience working with global customers
  • Good interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Analytical skills and the ability to recognize the demands on the side of the clients
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering
