Job Title: Java Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Software Engineer to join our team at Norconsulting in Pozuelo de Alarcón, MD, Spain.

About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity for a talented Java developer to work on a variety of projects, utilizing their expertise in Java, REST, Spring/Springboot, and other related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality Java software applications using agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and microservices using Java and related technologies.
  • Ensure the highest level of quality, reliability, and performance in all software deliverables.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and contribute to the improvement of the development process.
Requirements:
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in IT, with a strong background in Java development.
  • Proven experience working with agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Excellent knowledge of Java, REST, Spring/Springboot, and related technologies.
  • Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and message brokers (JMS, Rabbit, Kafka, SQS).
  • Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
  • Experience with continuous integration, Maven, and Docker.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Web Services SOA.
  • Cloud Computing/Platform Services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Angular 8+.
  • Java Certifications.
