Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze novel electrical design concepts for dry-type transformers, ensuring they meet the demanding technical requirements of emerging markets.
- Design and execute experiments to validate proposed solutions, leveraging your expertise in magnetic, electric, and thermal design.
- Lead the manufacturing and testing of prototypes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Oversee project execution, guaranteeing performance, time, and cost alignment with expectations.
- Document project progress, distill conclusions, and derive design rules from validated solutions.
- Protect intellectual property by applying relevant IP solutions.
- Collaborate with RD colleagues across the Hitachi Energy RD community to optimize electrical designs for other projects.
- Provide technical support to factories, sales teams, and customers, upholding the company's core values of safety and integrity.
Your Background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Higher education is highly valued.
- At least 2 years of experience in product development and/or electrical equipment design, preferably dry-type transformers.
- Strong foundation in magnetic, electric, and thermal design of electrical equipment.
- Proficiency in electrical FEM simulation tools, particularly ANSYS Maxwell, is highly desirable.
- Initiative, creativity, and attention to detail are essential.
- Collaborative approach, strong communication skills, and fluency in Spanish and English are required.
