Job Summary

We are seeking a Compliance Officer to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our compliance team, you will partner with legal, sales, and product teams to onboard and control payment service providers, banks, and other regulated and non-regulated companies across the globe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Know Your Partner analysis, including research on legal entities, customer due diligence, and risk assessment.
  • Evaluate client risk according to predefined criteria and communicate with clients to gather information on beneficial ownership or missing documents.
  • Conduct enhanced due diligence on clients, including interviews with compliance departments and identification of suspicious information.
  • Implement new compliance policies and procedures and participate in different projects under the supervision of the Manager.
  • Centralize and coordinate remediation of audit findings.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of financial crime risks and regulatory requirements. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
