About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Data Analytics Program Manager to join our team at Nippon Gases UK & Ireland. As a pivotal member of our central Data Team, you will act as the primary interface between data and key business units, leading and coordinating strategic projects that will shape the way we use data across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own all activities throughout a data program lifecycle to ensure the BI portfolio
  • Drive and facilitate projects, communicating proactively with stakeholders and teams to share insights, improve collaboration, and manage change
  • Gather requirements from business users, register properly, and participate in prioritization, critically evaluating resources and strategy
  • Interview end-users to determine the need for data, reporting, analysis, and data quality
  • Work with Product Owner(s) to shape the end-to-end product strategy and determine business value
  • Plan project scope, establish measurable goals, and manage the project, including escalations, to complete the project on schedule and within budget
  • Organize project kickoff and validation workshops
  • Define, implement, and track performance metrics once solution enters production
  • Develop a deep understanding of technical solutions developed, synthesizing complex analytics-derived insights into actionable recommendations that business users can easily extract and execute on
  • Provide established guidelines, standards, methodologies, and conventions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience (>8 years) in a similar role, working as a BI & Analytics project or program manager
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish
  • Experience in international environments is required
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and traditional waterfall approach
  • Official certifications will be desirable
  • Data visualization background – ideally Tableau or PowerBI
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Knowledge of data mesh, data governance, and BI and Analytics management
  • Knowledge of Azure Databricks for analytics workflows or similar platforms is a plus
  • Experience in implementing advanced analytics and generative AI solutions (Is a plus)
