Data Analytics Program Manager

Welcome to Nippon Gases, a leading company in the industrial and medical gases business in Europe. We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our central Data Team as a Data Analytics Program Manager.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead and coordinate strategic projects, acting as the primary interface between data and key business units. As a pivotal member of our Data Team, you will be responsible for driving and facilitating projects, communicating proactively with stakeholders and teams, and managing change.
Key Responsibilities:- Own all activities throughout a data program lifecycle to ensure the BI portfolio.
- Drive and facilitate projects, communicate proactively with stakeholders and teams, and manage change.
- Gather requirements from business users, register properly, and participate in prioritization.
- Interview end-users to determine the need for data, reporting, analysis, and data quality.
- Work with Product Owners to shape the end-to-end product strategy and determine business value.
- Plan project scope, establish measurable goals, and manage the project to complete it on schedule and within budget.
- Define, implement, and track performance metrics once the solution enters production.
- Develop a deep understanding of technical solutions developed and synthesize complex analytics-derived insights into actionable recommendations.
- Provide established guidelines, standards, methodologies, and conventions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience (> 8 years) in a similar role, working as a BI & Analytics project or program manager.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
- Experience in international environments is required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and traditional waterfall approach.
- Data visualization background – ideally Tableau or PowerBI.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of data mesh, data governance, and BI and Analytics management.
- Knowledge of Azure Databricks for analytics workflows or similar platforms is a plus.
