Business Unit Director for Fertility

Ferring Pharmaceuticals, a multinational pharmaceutical company with a strong presence in Spain, is seeking a Business Unit Director for Fertility to join its team.
About the RoleThe Business Unit Director for Fertility will be responsible for leading the commercial performance of our Reproductive Medicine and Maternal Health (RMMH) business in Spain. This role will require strategic vision, tactical guidance, and effective collaboration with cross-functional partners to achieve business objectives and performance targets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales and profit objectives.
- Lead a team of professionals in marketing and sales to achieve business objectives and performance targets.
- Collaborate with medical, regulatory, and finance teams to coordinate and effect placement of studies and initiatives that complement product strategic plans.
- Monitor progress of local studies and influence presentation and publication of results.
- Identify business development opportunities for line extensions, product differentiation, in-licensing, and potential acquisitions to meet Ferring's market and competitive needs.
- University degree in business or a scientific discipline is required.
- MBA or other applicable advanced degree is preferred.
- Ongoing leadership training, business-related learning, and development are expected.
- 8+ years' experience in commercial pharma roles in marketing and/or sales is a mandatory minimum.
- Considerable expertise in the pharmaceutical sector or other regulated healthcare industries is highly preferred.
- People management experience is required.
- Related experience in a global organization is necessary.
