Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Technologist to join our team as a technical advisor on complex deals and advanced workloads. As a key member of our European country local sales and pre-sales teams, you will be responsible for supporting the technical aspects of our business and driving business results.

Responsibilities
  • Translate business requirements into appropriate AWS technical services and solutions.
  • Collaborate with other EMEA sales and pre-sales teams to drive business results and enhance win rates.
  • Present and articulate features and benefits of AWS technology solutions to business and technical partners, as well as C-level executives.
  • Create and deliver presentations, customized demonstrations, seminars, and workshops to partners.
  • Design, plan, and deliver AWS Services Demonstrations and Proofs of Concept.
  • Become the technical solution expert for a designated AWS technology area.
  • Maintain up-to-date AWS certifications as continuous development of expertise.
Requirements

We are looking for a professional with experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Consultant in AWS, able to understand customer requirements and issues, and design solutions that match evolving market needs. A deep competence in all technologies typically involved in modern architecture for digital transformation and roadmap to cloud is strongly preferred.

Skills Required
  • Thorough understanding of infrastructure (hypervisor, storage, monitoring, security, etc.) and experience with orchestration to develop a cloud solution.
  • Minimum 6-8 years' experience in IT and a background including architecture, implementation, and delivery of large-scale hardware and software systems in real-world situations (Lift & Shift, Cloud Native Development, Cloud Security, Hybrid Cloud integration).
  • Wide knowledge of IT market and trends.
  • Significant C-level presentation experience.
  • Specific knowledge of AWS industry solutions.
  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification minimum (ideally).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and strong understanding of AWS capabilities and limitations.
Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Background and proven experience working in IT industry as Architect, Pre-Sales, Engineer, or as a Technical Consultant.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and persuasive skills essential.
  • Fluent in English and other languages are a plus.
  • AWS Certifications.
