About the Role
As a Senior Lighting Artist Leader at 2K Games, Inc., you will be responsible for leading the Lighting team and overseeing the implementation of lighting across various projects, environments, levels, and scenes to enhance the visual appeal, atmosphere, mood, and gameplay.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Lighting team, ensuring consistency across the department and providing direction and feedback to team members.
- Supervise the implementation of lighting across various projects, environments, levels, and scenes to enhance the visual appeal, atmosphere, mood, and gameplay.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including artists, designers, and engineers, to ensure seamless integration of lighting with other game elements.
- Develop and maintain lighting standards and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
- Identify and implement new lighting techniques and technologies to stay ahead of industry trends and advancements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Lighting Artist or Lighting Team Lead in the video game industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and guide the Lighting team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot lighting issues and optimize lighting solutions.
- Proficiency in lighting software and tools, including 3D modeling and rendering engines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
