About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team at TravelPerk as a Health and Safety Specialist. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and community members.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement our Health and Safety strategy, ensuring compliance with relevant EU legislation and regulations.
- Manage the Health and Safety of both remote and onsite workers, including conducting risk assessments and providing training and awareness campaigns.
- Build and maintain a Health and Safety policy and guidelines inventory that fosters a culture of well-being, work-life balance, and digital disconnection.
- Coordinate or deliver training and raise Health and Safety awareness among community members.
- Help the business adapt the workplace and work conditions for people with special needs due to disability, illness, or other specific conditions or circumstances.
- Proactively propose new measures to improve our Health and Safety standards.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge and experience in a Health and Safety role in Spain, ideally with an in-depth understanding of essential EU Health and Safety legislation.
- A Tecnico Superior PRL or any other relevant certification.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Self-motivation and ability to lead a team effectively.
- Experience working within a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Resilient, cheerful, optimistic, and enthusiastic, with a sense of humor.
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adhere to tight deadlines, multitask, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to company standards of ethics.
- Tech-savviness, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Highly reliable in delivery and communication, with the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
