We are seeking an experienced Senior Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at TravelPerk. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Health and Safety strategy, ensuring compliance with relevant EU legislation, and promoting a culture of safety and well-being within our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement our Health and Safety strategy, including risk assessments, policy development, and training programs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant EU Health and Safety legislation, including conducting regular audits and inspections.
- Collaborate with our external Health and Safety provider to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners.
- Develop and implement initiatives to promote employee well-being, including mental health support and work-life balance programs.
- Conduct regular training and awareness campaigns to promote Health and Safety best practices.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential Health and Safety risks, including those related to disability, illness, or other specific conditions.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and experience in Health and Safety, with a focus on EU legislation.
- Relevant certifications, such as A Tecnico Superior PRL.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to self-educate on complex topics.
