FCRS Operations Manager

Our opportunity at Zurich Insurance is to provide Financial Crime detection system services to over 30 Business Units globally, helping to detect, prevent, and disrupt Financial Crime. We are currently delivering a transformation program to centralize Zurich Group's Financial Crime controls.

Your Role
  • Manage a team of employees, directing selection, technical training, and career development.
  • Administrate and direct operations to provide prompt, accurate, and dependable service to customers.
  • Identify opportunities and risks associated with changes in internal and external environments by developing and implementing short-term and long-term operational goals.
  • Drive the implementation of operational and change projects for a function or business area to deliver defined objectives with allocated resources and in timescales typically of less than one year.
  • Pursue support for cross-functional projects to ensure technology infrastructure is in line with operating model and business plans.
  • Monitor and review the performance and behavior of team members and take action to ensure compliance with the company's risk and compliance policy and codes of conduct.

As a FCRS Operations Manager, your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Day-to-day management of a team of highly skilled, high-performing team members including training, development, performance management, and recruitment.
  • Relationship/Stakeholder Management is key as this role will have responsibility for maintaining and developing effective relationships with both internal and external parties.
Risk Identification and Assessment

Provide insights into risks and how to effectively mitigate and manage them.

Risk Appetite

Understand the risk appetite and tolerance for areas of responsibility.

Assurance

Lead assurance activities, validate findings and observations with relevant stakeholders, and document results.

Negotiation

Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify appropriate solutions to problems, issues, and escalations.

Problem Solving

Demonstrate an agile ability to identify, analyze, and construct solutions to complex problems arising from external changes and changing stakeholder needs.

Root-Cause Analysis

Analyze issues post-resolution and recommend actions to senior management to prevent recurrence and improve delivery standards.

Delivery Standards Development

Ensure that all KPIs and SLAs are met or exceeded and support the further evolution of the standards of service being offered by the service.
