Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide support to our organization and enable integration, development, engagement, and support for our team. This role will care about any dynamic concerning our full organization in Spain, in consistence with HR priorities and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the team to enhance the integration of HR policies within our organization.
- Support during the integration phase for anything regarding HR matters: contracts, admin tasks, and documentation, compensation and benefits harmonization, etc.
- Provide HR expertise, partnering with leaders, managers, and frontline leaders, helping them perform operational needs and KPIs.
- First point of contact for HR admin tasks and payroll.
- Provide HR support to employees for employment issues and questions, making sure labor law, local collective agreements, regulations, and policies are respected.
- Prevent conflicts and manage disciplinary actions when needed, always using tact, discretion, and empathy.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support client groups (Workday, Strengths Finder, and engagement). This includes data integrity.
- Provide support for Talent Management processes (Succession Planning, Growth Roadmaps, etc.).
- Provide Talent Acquisition and onboarding support for all hires.
- Support talent programs such as internships, co-ops, and other early career talent programs.
- Interact with public offices and institutions at the local level.
- Additional projects to support client groups as appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Labor/Industrial Relations, Management, Psychology, or Business.
- 10+ years of experience in general Human Resources: employee relations, talent acquisition and management, change management.
- Knowledge and experience with Spanish employment law.
- Skilled at indirect leadership and influencing others with the ability to navigate a matrix organization.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain an engaged team.
- Strong technological skills and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience in creating dashboards and analyzing data reports.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff, professionals, and remote employees.
- Detail-oriented, organized, with a strong sense of urgency.
- Orientation to problem-solving, managing conflict, influencing, multi-tasking, and managing change.
- Experience in a multinational environment is preferable.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Valencia district based.
- High energy, passion, resilience, and determination.
- Excellently skilled at creating or providing communication to the organization.
- Travel propensity: up to 25-30% between Spanish locations (Valencia & Calatauyd).
