HR Generalist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team in Valencia. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for managing all HR-related topics in France and partly Spain. Our team is diverse and fun, with various nationalities and personalities. We work hard to make our business feel supported in their daily operations and development within G-Star Raw.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare employee documentation in core processes for hiring, terminations, promotions, and other contract changes.
• Manage employee records by initiating processes and handling tasks in our HR systems, Daywize and Quinyx, ensuring that all processes are completed before the payroll deadline.
• Deliver a complete and accurate overview of the monthly changes to the payroll department.
• Act as a first point of contact for HR policy and HR system-related questions for employees and managers.
• Perform other frequently occurring administrative and/or operational HR tasks, such as managing leave balances, preparing employer statements.
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives, taking into account your personal learning goals and interests.
• Proactively seek opportunities to optimize our HR processes and services and to optimize the use of our HR system.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English – and perhaps Spanish?
• Ability to see the bigger picture and give suggestions to make things better.
• Fun and empathic team player, but also able to quickly work independently.
• Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized, with excellent time management abilities.
• Process-oriented but flexible when the needs of the business change.
• Knowledge of French labor law.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree, preferably in Human Resources, and 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
