IE Business School is set to join CIVICA - The European University of Social Sciences, an alliance that brings together ten prestigious European institutions specializing in social sciences, humanities, business management, and public policy. This collaboration will enhance connections among students, doctoral researchers, and academic as well as administrative personnel throughout Europe.
The addition of IE Business School and SGH Warsaw School of Economics strengthens the alliance's presence in Europe, showcasing the diversity of higher education across the continent. The profiles of these new partners align closely with the existing CIVICA members, sharing expertise, core values, and a university culture while also contributing unique strengths.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee IEU's involvement in the CIVICA alliance project across various work packages led by partner institutions, ensuring effective internal coordination.
- Manage project budgets, including strategic planning, coordination of collaborators, budget oversight, and maintaining partnership relationships.
- Facilitate and coordinate research activities related to project execution.
- Prepare reports and evaluations for completed projects.
- Develop a project timeline to guarantee timely delivery of objectives.
- Organize and participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and participation.
- Communicate project deadlines, objectives, concepts, and ideas clearly. Demonstrate the ability to understand the overarching goals of projects and convey this vision to team members, especially when leading initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to maintain a comprehensive understanding of partnerships, deliverables, and timelines.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
- Experience in budget management and oversight.
- Strong project management capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Ability to think strategically and manage complex projects with minimal supervision.
- Proven experience in overseeing project development and execution.
- Capacity to foster a sense of community among project teams.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
