We are seeking a skilled Transportation Systems Configuration Specialist to join our European Transportation team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards in our transportation network configuration.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Transportation teams, Product Managers, and SDEs to design, develop, and improve processes while enhancing customer experience.
- Mitigate issues impacting the network, providing short-term mitigations and working on long-term action plans for structurally addressing them.
- Scope and document system improvements required for customer experience enhancement.
- Interact with tech teams for driving and improving system and processes.
- Interact with operations stakeholders to improve their customer experience.
- Document quality engineering processes, workflows, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and maintain a robust knowledge base.
- Diagnose and resolve operational issues, perform detailed root cause analysis, respond to suggestions for enhancements.
- Participate in on-call rotation, providing support to operations teams.
This position combines tactical and strategic responsibilities as stepping up to lead new programs. You will collaborate daily with stakeholders across multiple Organizations to resolve system and network issues with short and long-term solutions.
Requirements- Solid stakeholder management experience.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Advanced SQL and Excel proficiency.
- Analytical thinking in decision-making and prioritization.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Transportation, or another technical field.
- Supply Chain experience.
- Logistic network knowledge.
- Lean/six sigma experience.
- Experience in continuous improvement processes.
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance.
