Power Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Systems Engineer to join our On-site Solutions team at DNV. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration and optimal performance of advanced control systems within the power grid.
Responsibilities:- Integrate renewable energy sources (solar/wind), energy storage systems, and other technologies into the grid infrastructure.
- Configure and calibrate Power Plant Controllers (PPC) systems to meet specific plant and grid needs.
- Monitor PPC system performance for optimal efficiency.
- Perform technical analyses, simulations, and modeling to evaluate the impact of new technologies and integration methods on the grid.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to grid integration and performance.
- Manage and execute system upgrades with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
- Follow industry regulations and safety standards for all PPC operations, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance system performance.
- A Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electrical, Energy, or Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field.
- A Master's degree in Electrical Power Systems Engineering is a bonus but not essential.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Strong communication skills, enabling you to present complex technical concepts clearly to various stakeholders.
