About the Role

The Crg-Centre For Genomic Regulation is seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Director to lead our research and innovation efforts. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving our scientific vision and strategy, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation, and ensuring the continued growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the CRG's research and innovation strategy, aligning with our mission and values
  • Provide leadership and direction to our research teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality research and innovation outcomes
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with industry, academia, and other stakeholders to drive research and innovation
  • Oversee the development and implementation of research programs, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively, ensuring the efficient use of our budget and personnel
  • Represent the CRG at national and international levels, promoting our research and innovation activities

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant field, with a strong track record of research and innovation experience
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading research teams and organizations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
