Michael Page International Italia S.r.l. is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Finance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing our financial operations, creating and analyzing financial data, and making informed decisions to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Strategy and Planning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy to achieve sustainable growth and profitability.
- Drive financial planning and forecasting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Assess financing alternatives, considering risk, return, and market conditions, to optimize financial performance.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts, budgets, and new financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Prepare analysis of financing needs for major capital equipment purchases, working capital, and other financing needs.
- Perform risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investments, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Assist in decisions on investment strategies, considering cash and liquidity risks, to ensure optimal financial returns.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and statements to provide insights to the Board of Directors and stakeholders.
- Monitor the cash flow of the company to meet operational needs, ensuring timely payment of invoices and suppliers.
- Prepare and monitor credit facilities and debt management, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Interact with stakeholders, including Founders, Board of Directors, and Accountants, to perform account reconciliation, balance sheet analysis, monthly/quarterly/six-monthly reporting, tax reporting, and preparation of budgets.
- Assist the company in the incremental setup of financial management software, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee the company's finance IT system, ensuring efficient and effective financial operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve financial objectives, driving business growth and profitability.
- Lead and supervise a team of financial controllers and analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure successful financial performance.
- Proven experience of at least 4 years as a Finance Manager, or similar relevant role, preferably in fast-paced environments or VC-backed companies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Excellent knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting methods, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with financial management software systems.
- Analytical mindset, strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- CPA or CFA certifications will be considered a strong plus.
