Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a Financial Operations Manager, who will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and reporting functions of the organization. The role will involve managing accounting processes, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, analyze financial data to support decision-making, and drive initiatives to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
- Financial Modeling and Analysis: Develop financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses to assess financial performance, identify trends, and evaluate business metrics.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting activities, working closely with department heads and senior management to develop realistic financial plans and targets.
- Internal Controls and Compliance: Establish and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow projections, liquidity, and working capital requirements to support daily operations, capital investments, and debt obligations.
- Financial Reporting: Provide strategic financial guidance and insights to senior management and key stakeholders to support decision-making, business planning, and strategic initiatives.
- Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities to foster a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Experience: 5 years' experience in financial management, accounting, or controller roles, with a strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Skills: Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP), financial reporting requirements, and internal control frameworks. Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling techniques.
- Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, integrity, and adherence to deadlines in financial reporting and analysis.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities while meeting business objectives.
- Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based.
- Background Check: Subject to the program and location of the position, must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint. Job offers are contingent on background/security investigation results.
