- Subsidiary Account Maintenance: Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
- Financial Statement Summarization: Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other statements.
- Payroll Processing: Produce payroll by initiating computer processing, printing checks, initiating direct deposit, and verifying finished product.
- Financial Information Security: Secure financial information by maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Ledger Maintenance: Balance and maintain accurate ledgers.
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
- Work Experience: 3+ years of work experience as a bookkeeper or in a related field is preferred.
- General Bookkeeping Experience: General bookkeeping, AR or AP experience is welcome.
- Regular Attendance: Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills are required, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Project Management: Demonstrates the ability to successfully plan, organize, and manage projects.
- Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented, excellent proofreading and editing skills are required.
- Work Environment: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, organized, able to prioritize, and work independently.
- Relationship Building: Experience building successful working relationships with C-level executives is preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Prior knowledge and experience of QuickBooks and ADP are desired.
- Self-Motivation: Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
- Background Check: Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset.
